WINDHOVER LV + PERSPECTIVES (2020–2021) is a Columbia Silver Crown Winner︎︎︎.

For the 2021 edition of the Windhover (my fifth print publication), our staff decided to make an even split of the magazine to dedicate half of its contents to Black creatives at NC State University in order to give them a significant platform at our predominantly white institution (PWI). Designing not one but two publications proved to be a challenge that assistant design editor Campbell Briggs and I were up for. The print project has a divider in the middle of the same paper stock as the cover, giving each half of the magazine the feeling of being standalone.
