New Student Programs︎ is an office dedicated to working with new first years in their adjustment to the University. I created on-brand social media posts, GIFs, print materials and other content for the NSP office. Software most commonly used is Adobe AfterEffects and Adobe Illustrator. Below are some samples of my work in the office.

Summer Leader Recruitment

Fall 2021

In Fall 2021, I began developing the recruitment campaign for the hiring of Summer Start Mentors and Orientation Leaders. The premise of the campaign was to be modular and easily switched up to match any context. At the heart of this modular structure is stickers—I designed 15 individual stickers for use on social media and print, as well as individual sticker sheets.

Class of ’25

Fall 2021

I was able to design a few GIFs to welcome the incoming class of 2025 and the incoming transfer class.

Hybrid Orientation

Summer 2021

Summer Start

Summer 2021

In addition to Orientation, a modified Summer Start took place suring 2021, which allowed new incoming students to come to campus and experience NC State before the beginning of the fall semester.

I created graphics for the NC State Summer Start Instagram and Twitter pages to publicize events taking place throughout the summer.

Instagram stories

2019–2020

On both a weekly and monthly basis, I designed Instagram stories about events taking place around campus. Weekly, I created generic agendas for a wide variety of events, while monthly, I created highly specific agendas for month-long themes celebrated by the University (like Black History Month, LGBT+ Pride Month, so on and so forth).

Program announcements

2019–2020

Often, I created announcement posts for different opportunities available to incoming students. Summer Start is a summer class program that newly accepted students can partake in the summer prior to their first year at NC State.

Class of ’24

Fall 2019

Each design is highly branded for NC State (but still has New Student Programs’ jazz!).
